On 28th August 2024, Blenheim Palace hosted an extraordinary event in collaboration with RENAULD Sunglasses, celebrating the legacy of Steve McQueen and the iconic Porsche 917 from the 1970 Le Mans film. The launch was a resounding success, drawing automotive and film enthusiasts alike to witness the unveiling of a meticulously crafted painting of the legendary race car, capturing its cinematic and racing heritage.
Adding to the excitement, Chase McQueen attended the event, further honouring his grandfather’s legacy. He personally signed the original artworks on the day, making this celebration even more special for collectors and fans. The event seamlessly blended art, history, and passion, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended.
